APL Apollo led SG Sports acquires a Franchises Team at the Ceat Indian Supercross Racing League

APL Apollo-led SG Sports has acquired a franchise team at the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League, following its successful run of the SG Alpine Warriors in Tech Mahindra Global Chess League. The team, SG Speed Racers, will be based in Delhi and aims to elevate sports spirit in India and build a platform for emerging athletes to excel on the global stage. SG Sports, led by APL Apollo, is set to shake up the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League with the franchise of SG Speed Racers.

The league started with the collaboration of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) is India’s first franchise-based Supercross Racing League. The league brings together riders from worldwide to compete in various formats and categories. SG Sports aims to revolutionize the sports landscape in India by providing a robust platform for emerging athletes to thrive and shine.  The league’s inaugural season is set to kick off in October 2023, with eight team franchises competing for recognition in the high-octane racing league.

Expressing his excitement about SG Sports becoming a part of the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League, Veer Patel, Co-founder and Director of Supercross India Pvt.
