“Many Indians go for Hajj every year,” the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. This year, 1 lakh 75 thousand Indians went to Saudi Arabia for Hajj. The main Hajj period is from July 9 to 22. So far, 98 Indian pilgrims have died. They died of natural causes, mainly due to illness and old age.” At the same time, the Center said, the government is trying its best to help those who have gone to Saudi Arabia for Hajj from India.
