Akasa Air embraces festive spirit with Dussehra special meal celebrating Bengali flavors

Café Akasa, the onboard meal service of Akasa Air, embraces the joyous essence of the festive season with the launch of its third edition Dussehra special meal, celebrating the rich culinary traditions of Bengal. This unique meal features the flavourful Hinge Aer Dal Kochuri, a delightful combination of spices and lentils, complemented by Kaju Fulkopi, a local cauliflower dish and a decadent Baked Rasgulla for dessert, served with a beverage of choice. This specialty meal will be available throughout October 2024 across the Akasa Air network and can be easily pre-booked through Akasa Air’s website or mobile app.

Durga Puja, one of the most significant festivals in East India, symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. Café Akasa pays tribute to this revered festival by bringing a taste of the authentic flavours of Bengal to travellers across India. Akasa Air has introduced its safety instruction card and onboard menu card in Braille for persons with visual impairment.
