During a press meet, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma was again asked about his remark on Shah Rukh Khan. The Chief Minister said he doesn’t know SRK, the actor was concerned about his movie release amid reports of a theatre and CM assured him there will be no disturbance during the release.
Chief Minister also said that there so many burning topics in state but people are so much concerned about calling him at 2 am for his upcoming movie. He further added about not watching movies, he only knows Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Jeetendra from his generation.
Sarma said no one expressed concern if his posters were torn down or taken down, as posters were torn down every day in Guwahati. But people are more concerned about actors and their movies.
He told the media to ask about G20 instead.
