To enable small business in state, Assam, Credit Guarantee Scheme is launched for MSMEs to access formal credit without collateral.
The scheme is launched by Assam Government for its people and got effective from April 1, 2023.
The state government has partnered with Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), jointly set up by the MSME Ministry and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), to increase the flow of institutional credit to micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the state.
