Three new criminal laws to be implemented in Assam from July 1, 2024 which will emphasize on providing speedy justice rather than punishment. The laws are the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. Assam DGP G.P.
