The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued advisory for all e-commerce companies to exclude all drinks and beverages, including Bournvita, from the category of 'health drinks' from their sites and platforms. The automobile manufacturing French company Citroen, announced on April 11, that it has started exporting its locally manufactured e-C3 electric vehicles (EVs) from India to international markets. Indian ride-hailing company Ola Cabs has decided to stop its services in all existing international markets by the end of April 2024.  The company has started sending mail to users regarding the closure of its services in Australia from April 12.  A spokesperson for the company told, the future of mobility is electric and Ola has a big opportunity to expand in India for the ride-hailing business, and with this clear focus, we have evaluated our priorities and have planned to shut down our overseas ride-hailing business in its current form.

As part of its efforts to curb increasing cyber fraud, the Reserve Bank of India(RBI) is considering establishing a Digital India Trust Agency (DIGITA) to control the growing of illegal lending apps.  The proposed agency will enable verification of digital lending apps and keep a record of public register of verified apps, sources said. The auto major said that its electric mobility unit, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TEPM) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) to establish 5,000 electric vehicle charging stations across India. The partnership will leverage HPCL's widespread fuel station network and TPEM's insights from over 1.2 lakh Tata EVs on Indian roads, to set up chargers at places frequently visited by Tata EV owners.
