The Central government on Thursday allowed traders to export onions to 4 countries till March 31. After the centre's approval, the traders will be allowed to export 54,760 tonnes of onion to Bhutan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Mauritius said Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh. Rohit Kumar Singh stated, "We have allowed export of 50,000 tonnes of onion to Bangladesh, 1,200 tonnes to Mauritius, 3,000 tonnes of Bahrain and 560 tonnes to Bhutan with immediate effect," reported news agency PTI. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on 12 of February 2024(Monday) said there will be no review of the restrictions imposed on Paytm Payments Bank (PPB) for regulatory violations, as the decision was taken in the best interest of customers. The Governor further said that the frequently asked questions (FAQs) on PPB will be issued later during the week to answer customer issues related to FASTags, wallet, and depositors.
