“Babars are not united, I have never seen such a group in my life”! said coach Gary Kirsten

Gary Kirsten was brought in as the coach of the team a few weeks before the start of the T20 World Cup. In that way, he did not have an understanding with the party. Meanwhile, Pakistan has withdrawn from the group stage of the current T20 World Cup. Head coach Gary Kirsten opened his mouth as the team departed. He took Babar Azam single-handed.

According to Kirsten, Pakistan lost because they did not play as a team. There is no unity among cricketers. “There is no unity in the Pakistan team,” he told the media. They call it a group. But it is not a party. Cricketers do not help anyone. Everyone is different. Go your own way.”

Kirsten earlier coached India to win the 2011 ODI World Cup. He has experience coaching several teams in the IPL as well. Kirsten had never seen such a group anywhere. In the words of the former South African cricketer, “I have worked in many teams. But there was no such experience anywhere. I have never seen such a team in my life.”

Kirsten said that he was surprised to see the fitness of Pakistani cricketers. He feels that the Babars are lagging behind other teams in terms of cricketing skills. Because of all these reasons, the coach thinks that they have to withdraw from the group stage of the World Cup.

Pakistan could not chase 120 runs against India. Babar lost by six runs. Kirsten was the first to open her mouth after that loss. He said, “I am very disappointed. I knew chasing 120 runs would not be easy. Where India’s batsmen could not play, we would also have problems. But I could not think that I would lose the match even by 2 wickets for 72 runs. We have lost ourselves.” This time, even after leaving, he targeted the Babars.
