Air India on December 12 unveiled uniforms for cabin crew and pilots designed by Manish Malhotra. The airline's female cabin crew will wear ombre sarees with a modern touch, while men will wear bandhgalas. For the cockpit crew, the famous couturier designed classic black suits. The new uniforms will be introduced in phases over the next few months, debuting with Air India's entry into service of its first Airbus A350.
