China has confirmed the first known human case of the H3N8 strain of avian flu, but health authorities say there is a low risk of widespread transmission among people. Russian shelling hits high-rise building in Kiev

Russian shelling hit a 10-storey apartment building in Kiev, leaving one person injured, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said. According to the State Emergency Service, fire erupted on the first through the fifth floors of the building located in the capital city’s the Podil neighbourhood.
