The soft drink major said it increased availability by more than 3 lakh stores in India in the first quarter, driving an estimated 3 billion transactions at the affordable point.

At the beginning of the summer, the company added 40,000 coolers, The Coca-Cola Company said in its global earnings statement.

“During the first quarter, the company and its bottling partners increased the availability of over 3,00,000 stores and approximately 40,000 coolers ahead of the summer season and transacted approximately 3 billion at affordable price points through single-serve packages and home-entry. pack,” it said.

India is Coca-Cola’s fifth largest market globally.

“The company has also increased household penetration through targeted promotions on large packages for the at-home channel,” it said.
