It has been claimed that the Adani Group’s stocks took a beating after a US-based short seller, Hindenburg Research, made a litany of allegations, including fraudulent transactions and share-price manipulation against the group.
But Goutam Adani has claimed it to be lying to the entire allegation. Since then, the opposition party Congress has been persistent in attack to the present government.
On Tuesday, a video of a man dressed up as a groom in a kurta–pajama, pagdi and a garland of Rs 2,000 notes to the Congress’s protest in Delhi over the Adani issue.
The protesters picked the man up and tried to send him across the barricades.
