Copper futures prices inflation on spot demand

New Delhi: Copper futures rose 0.22 percent to Rs 914.35 per kg on Monday due to increased spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery rose by Rs 2, or 0.22 percent, to Rs 914.35 per kg, with a turnover of 4,922 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
