Courtyard By Marriott Shillong kicked off the holiday season in dazzling style with its inaugural Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 10th. The event, held at the enchanting Poolside venue, transformed the hotel into a winter wonderland, featuring a magnificent Christmas tree as the centerpiece.The ceremony, graced by the presence of Shri Conrad Sangma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya, and other dignitaries, began with a warm welcome, setting the stage for an evening filled with festive cheer. Under the theme “Night Under the Stars,” attendees witnessed the grand illumination of the Christmas tree, casting a golden glow that captured the true spirit of the holidays.
Guests indulged in a splendid high tea experience, savoring delectable treats like ‘Plum pudding,’ ‘Sugar glazed cinnamon cookies,’ and savory delights including ‘Gouda Croquette with berry compote’ and ‘Beer batter fish with lemon aioli.’ The celebration continued with children meeting Santa Claus, live music performances, and a captivating dance presentation, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
