Durex The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT) programme by Reckitt, a global leader in consumer health, hygiene, and nutrition, observed World AIDS Day by organizing a special fun-filled day for children with HIV in Delhi. Durex TBBT, in partnership with AFCSR and PVR Nest, hosted a day for over 100 HIV positive children, featuring a special movie screening, engaging activities, and a unique helpline for Orphan and Vulnerable children. The event also provided hygiene facilities and musical and puppetry performances.

Durex TBBT is launching a special initiative to promote community support for children with HIV, aligning with World AIDS Day 2023’s theme ‘Let Communities Lead’. The initiative includes interactive sessions like puppet shows, movie screenings, musical performances, and an immersive experience zone. Deepa Menon, Founder Head of PVR NEST, expressed, “We wholeheartedly embrace this partnership to bring joy and create lasting memories for these resilient young individuals.”

TBBT aims to educate adolescents about self-care and hygiene, committing to ‘Leave No One Behind’. They distributed support kits including towels, nail cutters, Dettol soap, sanitizer, and antiretroviral drugs. Posters with positive affirmations, titled ‘The Rainbow of Daily Affirmations’, were also distributed to boost morale.
