Elon Musk, the founder of X(previously known as twitter) is facing backlashes due to his tweet which states that the Twitter will remove the block feature from everywhere except DMs(direct messages).
“Block is going to be deleted as a ‘feature’, except for DMs,” Musk wrote.
“Please rethink removing the block feature. as an anti-bullying activist (and target of harassment) I can assure you it’s a critical tool to keep people safe online.” wrote a Twitter user.
Netizens raised a concern over the decision by saying that this may lead to the online harassment and cyber bullying of users.
