First energy pipeline between India and Bangladesh will be opened by PM Narendra Modi and Sheikh Hasina

On Saturday, via video conferencing, the first energy pipeline between India and Bangladesh will be opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart, Sheikh Hasina.
The pipeline, which is expected to cost Rs 377 crore, will be the first cross-border connection between Bangladesh and India.
The amount spent on laying out the section on the Bangladeshi side, which was part of the total cost, was Rs 285 crore.
