Flipkart Grocery is transforming how India shops for groceries, celebrating a remarkable 1.6X year-on-year growth. Beyond numbers, the story of Flipkart’s success is about innovation, customer convenience, and a commitment to a greener future.In a pioneering move, Flipkart Grocery has become the only e-commerce platform offering next-day delivery in over 200 cities. This includes bustling metros like Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi, as well as smaller towns such as Anantapur, Berhampore, and Vellore. Customers in these diverse locations enjoy value offerings, convenient delivery slots, and a wide selection of fresh groceries.

Technology is at the heart of Flipkart’s success, enabling the company to identify high-demand areas and cater to varied consumer needs. Popular products range from essentials like oil, ghee, and atta to household staples like tea, coffee, and detergents. Flipkart’s commitment to sustainability is equally impressive. Over 50% of grocery deliveries are now made using electric vehicles (EVs), marking a 140% increase in EV usage year-on-year. This eco-friendly approach extends to using reusable totes and eco-friendly packaging.

Supporting this growth, Flipkart has launched 11 new grocery fulfillment centers across India, enhancing its ability to handle 1.6 lakh orders daily. These centers cover over 12.14 lakh sq. ft., ensuring a robust supply chain. Hari Kumar G, Vice President and Head of Grocery at Flipkart, shares, “Our growth reflects our dedication to innovation and customer-centricity. We are transforming e-grocery shopping while leading in sustainability.”
