Flipkart launches FlipInTrends to propel Made-in-India fashion brands ahead of festive season

Flipkart has announced the launch of FlipInTrends, an innovative initiative designed to accelerate growth for Made-in-India fashion brands as the festive season approaches. The event, hosted in New Delhi, saw the convergence of over 100 fashion brands alongside notable personalities including Rhea Kapoor, Mouni Roy, and Rithvik Dhanjani.

FlipInTrends is set to revolutionize the fashion industry by utilizing advanced generative AI and trend mapping, tapping into insights from Flipkart’s vast user base of 500 million. This initiative offers enhanced merchandising tools and trend forecasts through the Flipkart Seller app, allowing brands to optimize their product offerings in line with current consumer preferences. The launch event featured influential discussions from Meta, WGSN, and Libas on enhancing brand engagement and adapting to emerging trends. Highlights included a fashion dialogue with Rhea Kapoor and a ramp walk led by Mouni Roy, showcasing curated collections from Made-in-India brands. The unveiling of the ‘Flipkart Fashion Trends 2024’ coffee table book provided valuable insights into future fashion trends.

In Durgapur, FlipInTrends is poised to make a significant impact by offering local consumers access to the latest fashion trends and exclusive collections from Made-in-India brands.
