Future Generali launches innovative initiatives to boost life insurance in Sikkim

Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Ltd, recently appointed as the lead insurer for Sikkim by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), is set to revolutionize the state’s life insurance landscape with a dynamic strategy aimed at increasing penetration and financial literacy.

At the heart of this initiative is a blend of on-ground and digital outreach efforts tailored to engage Sikkim’s youth and diverse communities. Future Generali is collaborating with reputable NGOs to organize workshops, awareness camps, and digital campaigns. These efforts, highlighted by interactive sessions, lectures, and essay competitions, are designed to instill a sense of financial responsibility among students.Leading these transformative efforts are MD & CEO Alok Rungta, Manoj Singh, India Project Head for Sikkim, Geetanjali Chugh Kothari, and Kavita Nawbag, Gangtok Branch Head. Their active involvement underscores the company’s commitment to grassroots engagement.

Future Generali will also promote the Bima Vistaar product and establish Bima Vahak distribution channels to meet IRDAI’s rural and social sector targets. Mr. Pradhan, Nodal Officer for Sikkim, praised the initiative, emphasizing its potential to elevate financial security in the state.“Our goal is to bridge the gap between awareness and adoption,” stated Manoj Singh. Geetanjali Chugh Kothari elaborated on the comprehensive literacy drive across Pakyong, Namchi, and Gangtok, aimed at demystifying insurance concepts.
