German man orders kurta from Blinkit for office Diwali, CEO responds

A Twitter user’s post about ordering a traditional Indian dress for his German colleague from Blinkit caught the attention of the CEO of the fast-commerce platform. In a viral post, Twitter user Debarun Talukdar explained that a colleague in Germany visited their India office during the festive season and was surprised to see everyone wearing traditional Indian attire.

The German employee did not realize that he was in the office for the annual Diwali Puja, which is why all his Indian colleagues were dressed in their traditional best.

Not wanting to leave him out, the Company’s Indian employees did something thoughtfully — they ordered a kurta for their German colleague from Blinkit, which was delivered to their workplace in 10 minutes.
