Godrej Properties Acquires 20-Acre Land in Bengaluru, Eyes ₹1,350 Crore Project

Godrej Properties Limited has acquired a 20-acre land parcel in Whitefield, marking a significant expansion in one of India’s fastest-growing real estate markets. The company plans to develop a premium residential project on the site, with an estimated revenue potential of around ₹1,350 crore.
The project is strategically located near NH-648 in East Bengaluru, a region known for its strong demand driven by IT hubs and employment centers. Over the years, Whitefield has evolved into a well-developed micro-market supported by robust social infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, retail outlets, and leisure facilities.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director and CEO Gaurav Pandey said the company aims to deliver thoughtfully designed residential communities that cater to modern homebuyers seeking convenience and comprehensive amenities.
The acquisition aligns with Godrej Properties’ broader strategy to strengthen its footprint in key urban markets. Bengaluru continues to witness stable housing demand, particularly in mid and premium segments, supported by end-user interest.
This move follows the company’s earlier acquisition in November 2025 of a 3.8-acre land parcel in South Bengaluru, which is expected to contribute to a larger township project. With both developments combined, the company is planning a premium residential community spanning nearly 30 acres, with a total estimated revenue potential of ₹3,500 crore and a developable area of about 3 million square feet.
The latest investment underscores the company’s confidence in Bengaluru’s real estate growth and its focus on delivering large-scale, high-quality residential projects in prime urban locations.
