House of former Bengal CM Siddhartha Shankar Ray to receive heritage designation

According to councillor Sandip Ranjan Bakshi, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has decided to add the former West Bengal chief minister Siddhartha Shankar Ray’s home in south Kolkata to its list of historically significant structures.

The two-story red brick Ray’s mansion, which was built in 1900, is regarded as a landmark in the Hazra neighbourhood.
