IIMB introduces innovative online BBA program in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has announced the launch of an online undergraduate programme focusing on Digital Business and Entrepreneurship, scheduled to commence in September 2024. This initiative marks IIMB’s entry into the undergraduate education realm, leveraging its renowned digital learning platform, IIMBx.

Led by Prof. Suresh Bhagavatula, the three-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme will combine cutting-edge digital technologies with essential business management principles. It aims to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic business landscape, offering internship opportunities and practical projects to enhance practical learning. Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director of IIMB, highlighted the programme’s flexible structure and emphasis on digital readiness, stating, “Our goal is to produce graduates who can lead digital transformations in businesses or launch their own ventures in the digital realm.”

The launch of this programme is expected to have a significant impact on the Guwahati market, where businesses are increasingly embracing digital innovations.
