India to establish unified electrical expo: Piyush Goyal at ELECRAMA 2025

Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal has called for a unified, world-class electrical industry exposition to position India as the global hub for electrical and energy solutions. Speaking at ELECRAMA 2025, he urged industry leaders to merge major expos into a single grand event, showcasing India’s strengths in power infrastructure, smart grids, and clean energy solutions to global investors.

At the event, Vimal Anand, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, announced that India is set to become the world’s third-largest economy by 2026, earlier than expected. In a key development, anMoU signed at the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) aims to expand global collaborations and enhance India’s presence in the power sector. The eTECHnxt conference further emphasized clean energy, digital transformation, and workforce upskilling.

ELECRAMA 2025 continues to drive India’s vision of becoming a global leader in electrical innovation, reinforcing the country’s position in the international power industry.
