On March 17 and 18, India will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Tourism Ministers’ Conference in Kashi (Varanasi), which has been named the organization’s first cultural capital. The SCO is currently being chaired by India. A collaborative action plan on the growth of cooperation in tourism among SCO member nations will be adopted during the Tourism Ministers’ (TMM) conference, according to a release from the Ministry of Tourism. The second meeting of the Tourism Expert Working Group will take place before the TMM on March 14 and 15. Prior to its adoption at the SCO Tourism Ministers meeting on March 17, the dignitaries will debate and finalise their unified action plan during their meeting.
