BJP member and former Rajya Sabha MP Swapan Dasgupta complained that no one can buy soft drinks on an IndiGo flight and said the airline must stop burdening passengers with all kinds of extras.

According to the airline, its customers can enjoy a complimentary drink along with any snacks purchased onboard.

“Earlier, our menu consisted of cashews (₹200) and a coke (₹100), with a total charge of ₹300. Our updated menu now offers any juice or coke for ₹200 (drinks are complimentary). Our bi- The on-board service is completely optional, so customers can use their choice,” the statement said.
