Indus Towers, a leader in telecom infrastructure, has extended critical support to flood-affected communities in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district, distributing 1,550 relief kits through its CSR initiative, Pragati. The relief drive, held at Harivansh Middle School, was attended by Mr. Binod Prasad Singh, Mukhiya of Panchayat Barheta, who lauded Indus Towers’ efforts in providing essential resources and swiftly restoring connectivity.

“This timely support by Indus Towers demonstrates the strength of public-private collaboration during crises. Their role in restoring connectivity is crucial in coordinating relief and supporting recovery,” said Mr. Singh. A dedicated team of 22 Indus Towers volunteers oversaw the distribution. “Our mission is to maintain connectivity and support disaster relief, working closely with local authorities to aid the affected community,” stated Tejinder Kalra, COO of Indus Towers.

The floods have also impacted Muzaffarpur, a critical supply hub for nearby regions. Indus Towers’ quick restoration of telecom services is anticipated to support Muzaffarpur’s business revival, enabling efficient communication and coordination across supply chains and local businesses essential for recovery. Ritesh Batsa, Circle CEO, added, “Ensuring uninterrupted connectivity is our priority, allowing us to support both immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts.”
