Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani which was a huge success and alot more appreciation from audiences for all the performance given by the actors in the movie.
The movie was led by Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Recalling, once Priyanka Chopra was asked if she wanted to play Deepika Padukone’s character in the movie.
Priyanka reacted saying, “Have you watched the film? Why would I play Mastani? Did you like Kashi? You should have a look in my house, it has become garden.”
In the movie, Priyanka Chopra played the role of Kashi, the first wife of Bajirao, and Mastani the second wife. Priyanka Chopra’s famous dialogue, “Aap humse hamari zindagi maang lete, hum kushi-kushi de dete, par aapne toh humse hamara guroor hi chheen lia,” is still popular till date.
