LG Electronics India collaborates with the Korean Cultural Centre India

The third edition of the All-India K-POP Contest 2024 culminated in a dazzling Grand Finale organized by LG Electronics India and the Korean Cultural Centre India (KCC). The event showcased exceptional talent and celebrated the deepening cultural ties between India and Korea.

The highlight of the evening was a show-stopping performance by global K-POP sensation LUN8, whose electrifying stage presence enthralled fans. In the competitive finale, Kolkata’s Abhipriya Chakraborty triumphed in the Singing category, while The Trend, a dance crew from Itanagar, clinched the Dancing title. Both winners were awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to Korea to explore the K-POP industry.

Addressing the audience, LG Electronics India Managing Director Hong Ju Jeon praised the participants, saying, “This contest has been a testament to the boundless talent and enthusiasm of India’s youth. Congratulations to Abhipriya and The Trend for their inspiring performances.” The contest highlighted Kolkata’s vibrant connection to global music. With its young audience increasingly embracing K-POP, Kolkata has emerged as a key market for fostering cultural and creative industries, aligning with LG’s mission to resonate with Gen Z.
