Mahindra Logistics Limited, a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions in India, is expanding its presence in West Bengal by introducing a 1.1 lakh sq. ft. fulfilment centre in Malda, West Bengal. The centre will handle fulfilment and last-mile deliveries, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries through end-to-end fulfilment and distribution capabilities. The company is also adding 14 last-mile delivery stations, reaching approximately 15,000 households daily.
The expansion is part of the company’s comprehensive logistics solutions, which integrate fulfilment, express, mid-mile, and last-mile services. The centre is strategically positioned to serve Northern West Bengal, Eastern Bihar, and parts of the Northeast. It has a daily processing capacity of 10,000 orders and an inventory capacity exceeding 15 lakh units, designed to meet and exceed the growing demands of the region.
Managing Director and CEO Rampraveen Swaminathan stated that the new facility in Malda is strategically positioned near demand centres, facilitating swift and dependable deliveries nationwide. This facility aligns with the government’s commitment to transform the eastern region and its people into powerful drivers of India’s economic growth.
