Medica Group of Hospitals, West Bengal’s leading health care chain and a pioneer in healthcare excellence, has announced investment of 200 Cr INR for their ambitious expansion plans for its hospitals in North Bengal at the North Bengal Health Conclave 2023 on 15th September in august presence of Mr. N S Nigam, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Health & Family welfare, Government of West Bengal, Mr. Yeluchuri Ratnakara Rao, IAS, Secretary, Department of Health & Family welfare, and other officials.
Commenting on this ambitious expansion plan for North Bengal, Mr. Ayanabh Debgupta, Joint Managing Director of Medica Group of Hospitals, stated, “Medica North Bengal Clinic, Siliguri, and Medica Cancer Hospital, Rangapani are the first of many Medica Group ventures in which we have enhanced services through our ground breaking approach and cutting-edge technology. We plan to enhance our Siliguri facility by increasing the number of beds and expanding the facility’s footprint.”
Recognizing the growing healthcare demands of the region, Medica Group of Hospitals expanded its presence by establishing the Medica Cancer Hospital in Rangapani, near Siliguri. This groundbreaking endeavor marked the sole Cancer Hospital in North Bengal offering comprehensive cancer care services all under one roof.
