Mumbai’s popular eatery given ‘Stop Business’ notice for hygiene issues

Maharashtra’s Foods and Drugs Administration is all serious about hotels in Mumbai and are performing raids on all the hotels and restaurants. One the famous hotel(eatery) of South Mumbai known as Bademiya has been raided by FDA officials and sealed for its unhygienic maintenance at the kitchen and for not having licence.

As per the reports, rats and cockroaches were seen in the kitchen and after a deep investigation it was found that the 76 year old eatery doesn’t possess a license under the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India(FSSAI).

The eatery has it’s two more branches in South Mumbai and Bandra. After the investigation the owner of the eatery was given notice to stop his business.
