Nagaland Government, Chief Minister Tokhu congratulated the festival

On the occasion of the Tokhü Emong festival, Nagaland Governor La Ganesan and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have sent their warmest regards to the Lotha community. Ganesan wrote in a message that as people gather to celebrate the harvest’s abundance and the spirit of oneness, this festival will offer them all many blessings, joy, and serenity. The governor also wished everyone happiness, health, peace, and success.

Chief Minister Rio wished the Lotha community a happy Tokhu Emong, a post-harvest celebration that honors sharing and peace, in a post on “X.” Rio prayed that this festive event would promote unity, saying, “It’s a time when past conflicts are forgiven, new bonds are formed, and relationships are deepened.” The Lotha community was also welcomed by state deputy chief minister Y Patton on the occasion of Tokhu Emong, a post-harvest celebration marked by feasting, celebrating, and giving thanks to the Creator for the abundant harvest. State BJP lawmakers sent their warmest holiday greetings and wished that it was observed in the genuine spirit of peacemaking and forgiveness.
