Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has recorded its highest consolidated sales in seven years, achieving 99,000+ units in FY2024-25—a 35% year-on-year growth—led by the strong performance of the New Nissan Magnite in both domestic and export markets.

The company reported domestic wholesale of 28,000+ units and export sales of 71,000+ units, expanding from 20 to 65+ international markets under the “One Car, One World” plan. The New Magnite, launched in October 2024, has crossed 150,000 cumulative sales and achieved 50,000 export units, gaining strong traction in left-hand-drive markets including Saudi Arabia.

As part of its global turnaround strategy, Nissan has restructured its India operations, offloading its stake in the Chennai JV plant to its Alliance partner. The company reaffirmed its commitment to India with plans to introduce an all-new 7-seater B-MPV in FY25 and a 5-seater C-SUV in FY26. The SUV’s bold design, fuel efficiency, and E20 compliance have attracted young buyers, even as Nissan prepares for a 3% price hike from April 2025.The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, with completion expected by H1 2025.
