North 24 Pargana demonstrated exceptional performance at the 2023-24 Olympiad Awards

Two students from North 24 Parganahave secured top ranks in the SOF Olympiad exam for 2023-24. Hafijah Alam, of fourth class from Swapnopuron Sishu Siksha Niketan achieved the first rank in the International General Knowledge Olympiad, earning an international gold medal and a merit certificate. Stotram Roy, a seventh-grade student from Kendriya Vidyalaya, claimed the third rank in the National Science Olympiad, earning an international bronze medal and a merit certificate.

The Science Olympiad Foundation held an awards ceremony in New Delhi to recognize the top three worldwide rank holders from grade 1 to 12 who participated in seven Olympiad exams for the academic year 2023-24. Distinguished guests included former Chief Justice of India, Justice Dipak Misra, and renowned author Chetan Bhagat.

The SOF Olympiad attracted millions of students from 70 countries, including over 16,737 students from North24 Pargana, with notable schools like ABN Global Academy and Nivedita Shishu Tirtha participating. At the ceremony, former chief Justice of India, Justice Dipak Misra addressed the gathering of over 700 attendees, he said, “Competition or the effort to compete doesn’t end here, that is the beauty of competition in Life. When you talk about competition, success follows it because everyone competes to succeed. Success is the real achievement
