Discussions focused on agro-processing, handicrafts, handlooms, organic farming, and tourism—areas in which Nagaland has a natural edge.
The developmental priorities of Nagaland are strongly aligned with those of South Korea, which is renowned for its innovation and proficiency in SME development and human resource training. Nagaland has significant potential in agro-processing, handloom, organic farming, health, and tourism, which could lead to economic growth and youth empowerment. Cultural and educational exchanges, including Korean language promotion, are also discussed. Korea’s growing interest in engaging with northeastern India is emphasized, with both sides agreeing to continue dialogue and implement joint initiatives.
