Even if Sonia Gandhi, the leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party, or even Mallikarjun Kharge wished to assure his return to the party, he continued, it is not in their hands.
Even if Rahul Gandhi asked for his return, he claimed, “it was too late” for him to do so.
