Panasonic Life Solutions India has launched its 2025 line-up of Residential Air Conditioners (RAC) in East India, designed to withstand extreme temperatures up to 55°C. The latest range, featuring 61 new models across 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0-ton capacities, aims to redefine smart living with advanced technology and energy efficiency. These ACs are now available at leading retail outlets, e-commerce platforms, and the Panasonic Brand Store.
Highlighting the market potential, Mr. Abhishek Verma, Business Head, Air Conditioners Group, Panasonic Life Solutions India, stated, “India’s AC penetration currently stands at 7-8%, with the market projected to grow at a CAGR of 16.5% from 2023 to 2029. Panasonic has outperformed the industry, achieving approximately 45% growth from April 2024 to March 2025, with Ranchi emerging as a key contributor.” Eastern India currently holds a 19% share of the AC market, and Panasonic anticipates 30% growth in the region in 2025.
The 2025 AC line-up integrates Matter, Miraie, AI-powered nanoe air purification, one-touch service, and a 7-in-1 convertible mode. The Ecotough outdoor unit enhances durability, while the Matter integration in 3-star inverter RACs ensures a seamless smart home experience. Ranchi, a growing urban center, has seen rising demand for smart, energy-efficient ACs due to increasing summer temperatures and evolving consumer preferences. Panasonic’s strategic focus on Ranchi aligns with its vision of expanding market share in East India, catering to the city’s growing need for durable, high-performance cooling solutions.
