Rise in cases of H3N2 flu

 The chief medical officer (CMO) of Hamirpur on Saturday requested that people use face masks and keep enough space between each other to stay safe as H3N2 flu cases have increased.
At a workshop held here, CMO R K Agnihotri stated the number of H3N2 flu cases in the nation is “growing rapidly” while speaking to block medical officers (BMOs), medical officers, and doctors affiliated with community health centres.
He gave orders to all the BMOs and physicians to monitor all flu cases and increase COVID-19 sampling in their respective regions.
