Roundtable  Mizoram organized for business facilitation in the region

The Government of Mizoram organized a Roundtable Session in association with the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, FICCI (the Knowledge Partner), EY (the Knowledge Partner), and Invest India.  The Roundtable is part of a series of multi-city Investors Roundtable Programs organized in the run-up to the Northeast Global Investors Summit which is planned to be held in New Delhi later this year.

Shri Zoramthanga, Chief Minister of Mizoram, was the Chief Guest at the Roundtable who interacted with Government officials from the State and MDoNER, regarding opportunities across sectors. Other senior officials present included Shri H. Rammawi, Esther Lalruatkimi, Shri V. Lalengmawia, and Ronald Lalchhuanawma. The Roundtable had over 100 participants, including enterprises from across the country.The Chief Minister Shri Zoramthanga addressed the attendees saying, “Mizoram truly looks like a paradise, there is ample scope for investment here. With over 30,000 sq. km of land, the Government will help potential investors to set up processing centers. The region offers many opportunities for growth and development.”

Dr Renu Sharma, Chief Secretary, Government of Mizoram added an optimistic note by saying, “This investment summit marks a significant milestone for the NER states, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase the abundant natural resources and immense investment potential that Mizoram has to offer. This workshop is a crucial step towards collating all efforts and achieving fruitful outcomes in our quest for sustainable development.”
