Apple is an US giant company which will close FY23 with iPhone exports in excess of `37,000 crore, to be 236% higher than the last fiscal.
The total mobile exports from the country during the current fiscal is set to cross `80,000 crore, which will be higher than the government’s estimate of `75,000 crore.
iPhones are manufactured in India by its three contract manufacturers – Foxconn, Pegatron (both located in Tamil Nadu) and Wistron (located in Karnataka) under production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme announced by the government on 2020.
