Spotify has introduced restrictions on using its few features in free in India. Spotify users in India will now have to pay premium subscription i.e by taking membership of Spotify Premium to access the features.
According to the sources, the restrictions took place in the country as it tries to expand the user base of its paid Premium subscription.
Starting from October 9, the day of the announcement, these features are ‘locked’ and will be accessible only to Spotify Premium subscribers:
1. Playing songs in a specific order.
2. Tapping back to listen to a particular portion of a song.
3. Repeating or going back to a previous song.
