Manipur's capital city had an annual fish fair and crop competition in 2024. MP Leishemba Sanajaoba presided over the occasion, which was also attended by state fisheries department minister Heikham Dingo. The Manipur government organized the event, commemorating its comeback after a one-year hiatus due to the continuing situation in Manipur. The gathering is organized to honor the Ningol Chakkouba festival, which takes place on Sunday. The goal for fish output was set at an aggressive 1.5 lakh kgs.
