At the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Tura, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma officially opened solar-powered classrooms. By giving students access to a digitally enabled learning environment, particularly in places with limited electricity, the program seeks to close the accessibility gap. These classrooms, which are outfitted with solar energy systems, provide a constant power source, enabling students to participate in interactive, tech-driven learning.
