Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Tripura Asset hopes to enhance natural gas production to a record 4 million metric standard cubic meters per day within the following year. This attempt is being made to accommodate the region's growing demand for natural gas, an official release said. Three significant power-generating firms in Tripura, notably the OTPC plant located in the Gomati district, rely on the 3.5 MMSCMD of natural gas produced by ONGC.
