The Commissioner & Secretary and the State Mission Director conducted a high-level review meeting organised by the State Education Mission Authority, Meghalaya, at the State Convention Centre in Shillong, with a renewed emphasis on strategic planning and technology-driven reforms. Along with District Coordinators, Block Coordinators, and Resource Persons, senior officials from the Government of Meghalaya’s Education Department attended the session, which intended to speed up educational activities throughout the state.
A significant push towards more effective and focused interventions was shown by the emphasis placed on strategic planning for school clusters as well as the encouragement of app-based reporting tools to expedite data collecting and analysis. With an emphasis on providing high-quality, inclusive, and vocational education to all students in Meghalaya, the meeting also covered important topics such as UDISE matters, the implementation of APAAR ID, enhancing monitoring and reporting roles, identifying Out-of-School Children (OOSC), civil works development, financial management, and the rollout of initiatives under NIPUN Bharat.
