The india based Titan Company Limited on Tuesday said that it is planning to recruit over 3,000 candidates with specialised skills and experiences such as product management, data analytics, digital marketing, cyber security and and other new-age skills amongst others in the next 5 years.
Titan Company is a joint venture between the Tata Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) with a headquarter in Bengaluru. The company manufactures luxury fashion accessories such as jewellery, watches and eyewear.
Further, in-line with its eye on innovation and technology, the company decides to raise the number of employees in engineering roles by 50 % in the coming 2-3 years. The industry will continue to hire campus talent, and it is expected to contribute to 15-18 per cent of the total hiring per year.
Titan is also aligning their synergies to train and enable the re-entry of women into the workforce, the company recently established the ‘women focused return-ship program’ which helped it to recruit 40 % women among the new hires in first quarter of FY24, the company added.
