Vi, a leading telecom operator, has set a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest notebook sentence using 23071 notebooks. The event took place at Janeshwar Mishra Park in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where over 700 people, including Vi employees and their families, 500 underprivileged kids from Umeed Foundation, Care Education Trust, Aadijyoti Sewa Samiti, and Bal Shahswat Foundation, came together to create the world’s largest notebook sentence, ‘Be Someone’s We’.
The initiative aims to promote inclusivity and togetherness by illustrating how networks bring communities together and serve as bridges for forming human/social bonds. Vi will donate the 23071 notebooks used in creating the world record to the Ministry of Education – Uttar Pradesh. Vi’s ongoing campaign ‘Be Someone’s We’ aims to create an inclusive world where people feel less left out, less lonely, and loved and cared for.
The event featured dignitaries such as Shri Brijesh Pathak Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Baby Rani Maurya, Honourable Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Smt. Sushma Kharkwal, Hon’ble Mayor of Lucknow. Vodafone Idea’s Operations Director, Pravir Kumar, expressed excitement over achieving the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Largest notebook sentence, aiming to raise awareness about loneliness and promote inclusivity.
